U&lc

Many years ago, a wonderful secret was passed on to me: U&lc was free. The printed magazine is no longer with us (and wasn’t even free at the end, although it was certainly worth its cover price). The web site is a pale shadow of the magazine, but still a good read.

Not so many years ago, someone on Usenet announced that he was selling his mostly-complete collection “for best offer.” I don’t remember what I offered him, but it was worth it. Today I finally got around to unpacking them, and visited with my old friends.

Sadly, my collection ends with Volume 22 Issue 2, and there are ten missing before that. Should anyone stumble across any of these, I’d be delighted to acquire them for a fair price:

  • Volume 1, #2
  • Volume 4, #3
  • Volume 5, #3 & #4
  • Volume 7, #1
  • Volume 10, #3
  • Volume 14, #4
  • Volume 15, #1, #2, & #3
  • Volume 22, #3 & #4
  • Volumes 23 through 26
