Yes, I’m using two dedicated ereaders to display related PDF files side-by-side, the result of my custom-student-edition scripts. If the Android tablet version of Acrobat Reader can’t do this either, then my interest in items like the Xoom is substantially reduced. People who claim single-tasking on mobile devices is a virtue have fallen for a (slobbering jobscockian) line that conflates two very different meanings of “task”. A single human task can easily involve half a dozen computer tasks, but unless they’re combinations that Apple has already thought of and supplied APIs for, they may be impossible to do together on an iPad.

(and both my devices put together weigh less than an iPad…)
