Keepers of Lore

Links to other L5R Web Pages

The following sites are Kitsu Sei's collected links, added since beginning her tenure as Lion Clan Prophet. Contact her to have your site added here.

Rokugan's Finest

Kitsu Sei recommends the following pages as among the finest in Rokugan, based on their utility, quality of content, or access to unique sources of information.

  • The Jade Lion: A Lion clan web site with decks, news, and a lot of promise. Be sure to check it out.

  • Rokugan's Scrolls of History: Contains the collected flavor text of nearly every L5R card in existence! This site is a wonderful source for learning about the storyline.

  • The Shadowlands Refuge of the Lion Clan: Hosted by the ineffable Ikoma Andy, this site includes a searchable card spoiler list, the L5R Code, and a trading forum. As the Shadowlands Refuge of the Lion Clan's Fu Leng loyalists, it is doubtless a great threat to the Jade Empire, and one you should investigate immediately.

  • Tradeposts of the Mantis: Arashi Kaze does a good job of putting together a page with information on Yoritomo's Alliance, particularly with respect to the role-playing game. This page's main strength is that it has the most exhaustive set of L5R links to be found on the Web.

  • The Hidden Fortress of the Lion: This site hosts some of Kitsu Sei's fiction, within one of the most attractive web page user interfaces I've seen. It's worth taking a look at for the UI alone.

  • Clan Wars Miniatures: Professional-quality photography and painting -- fantastic!

  • Hida Kirin's Page: Having been accused of slighting the Crab (who possess their share of fine scholars and historians), Kitsu Sei includes this page with stories, decks, and some historical information on Japanese use of gunpowder.

  • The Ide Library: This Unicorn-centric site is aesthetically pleasing and full of good Unicorn information, even if it does also demean the glorious and honorable name of the Lion Clan. I'm sure the noble Ide Ryoso has considered sharpening his horn on a Crane or two in his day...

  • International L5R Player Database: Find players the next time you're in France!

  • Java's Crypt: L5R Jewelrymakers, licensed by Wizards of the Coast.

  • Kyuden Akodo: A Lion site focusing on providing L5R information in French as well as English. Bravo, Yasu-san.

  • Kyuden Hida: A Clan Wars-centric site with a lot of useful information for miniatures gamers.

  • Matsu Gohei, The Butcher of the Clan Wars: A site dedicated to every Lion's favorite rallying point against the HDM.

  • Sensei Kenku Amakusa: A Spanish L5R site with a lot of information and nice design.

  • Shiba House: A Phoenix site, devoted mainly to the roleplaying game. I was chided for having no non-Jeff Alexander Phoenix links, which I've now corrected.

  • The Shinjo Parade Grounds: A very nice Purple Pony site. This is _really_ cool web design, and worth looking at just for that -- plus it has Unicorn information as an added bonus.

  • Togashi Hiro's L5R page: A good collection of links and information, geared towards the Dragon Clan. Togashi Hiro's site is part of the Sixth Ring, a circle of L5R web sites.

  • Yogo Ono's Site: This page hosts Ono-san's Densetsu, articles providing information on Japanese culture as applicable to Rokugan. They are well-written, and definitely worth reading.
